85% more protection
On the 1st April 2023, Section 4 of The Private Tenancies Act (Northern Ireland) 2023 capped the limit of deposits tenants could pay at one month's rent, therefore removing the protection higher deposits gave to landlords.

Reposit is a deposit alternative which gives landlords 85% more protection than traditional cash deposits can give landlords in Northern Ireland as it will provide cover of up to eight weeks' worth of rent in the event of a defaulting tenant, or a tenant that breaches the terms and conditions of their lease.
In addition, at the end of the tenancy, should a landlord want to make deductions for damage or rent arrears, Reposit guarantees the claim to be settled within fourteen days. When compared to the traditional deposit schemes which can take months to settle, Reposit gives you the funds to repair any damage without having to pay for the work yourself first.

What's more, Reposit is completely free for landlords. All you need to do is agree that a Reposit can be offered to your tenant.
