PINKERTONS RAISE £1865 FOR NORTHERN IRELAND CHEST HEART & STROKE
The past 12 months have been a busy and exciting time for Pinkertons, not only have we opened a brand new office in Comber Square, the team have also dedicated their time to raising money for Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke.
In September 2015 Pinkertons entered into a corporate partnership with the more than worthy cause and monies were raised through charity bag packs, coffee mornings and sporting events throughout the year.
Today in Northern Ireland 10 people will suffer a heart attack. In fact, 40%of adult deaths in Northern Ireland are from chest, heart and stroke conditions. Knowing the vital support NICHS provide across Northern Ireland and the impact even the smallest donation can have, it was with great pride Managing Director Victoria Pinkerton was able to present the charity with a cheque for £1865.54!
Speaking on the presentation Victoria said “The effects of a chest, heart or stroke illness is not just physical; it affects suffers emotionally and socially, and whilst timely and effective medical intervention is essential, people with long term health conditions also need support and guidance to manage their conditions, and lives on a daily basis. This is why we chose Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke as our Charity Partner twelve months ago and are delighted to announce that we will be continuing our Corporate Partnership for a further twelve months”.
Proudly presenting the cheque to Victoria Ross, Corporate Fundraising Officer at NICHS are from left Victoria Pinkerton, Managing Director of Pinkertons and Paula Smith, Manager at Pinkertons.
